Airport Parking

When talking about airport car parking, we generally have 3 basic types of parking available that are related to airports . . . .

1. Park and ride
In this mode of parking you just simply park you car and take the bus service provided by the park and go to airport, you can park your car yourself or they can park for you. Some services keep your car keys and some don't.

If park and ride service is near to the airport, they tend to charge more and if far then its cheaper. This becomes a main drawback of the service keeping the aspect of travelling and moving your luggage with you in bus and all.

2. Meet and greet Parking
In this mode of parking your choose a car parking service and one of their agent comes to airport at the time and take away car from you and park it in a secured facility located near the airport and when you come back you just call them and your car will be outside the terminal by the time you come out.

This form of service is good for two reasons, One is that you save a lot of time because you don't have to stand in queues and wait for parking your car and secondly you save money by taking a 8 days or 15 days parking service which is secure and away from the approach of general public i.e. Gatwick airportparking, Parking at Gatwick etc etc . . .

3. Airport Hotel with parking
Now days every airport that have a national or international flights have hotels around it for passengers, these hotels cater for special airlines on contract basis or are working individually. One of the big advantages of these hotels to the airlines is that if flights get delayed at the last minute, airline offer rooms to passenger as compensation. On the other hand for an individual it is good because they can park their cars in hotel parking if you are going for a holiday or business trip of 8 or more days.

Above mentioned ways are the three that are available to the passengers going to airport, every airport have their own mode of parking but all work around these three types. Saying that, in my personal experience meet and greet parking is the best of all, because you turn up to airport in your own car and hand it over to an agent of any professional valet service and go to your trip without a fuss or worry and when you come back you just call them and your car will be waiting for you outside the terminal for you to drive it home. Gatwick parking is easily accessible to customers on one call.
